Oh hello.
I'm Lisa.
I'm a dyslexic ADHDer, educator, and mom of three. I conquered dyslexia with the Take Flight Program and earned my CALT after 700 hours of dyslexia-focused training. I've also completed courses in dysgraphia and ADHD coaching, accumulating 109 hours towards my ICF certification. With over 20 years in public schools, I've helped craft accommodation plans for students with dyslexia or dysgraphia, ensuring they receive the support they need.
My Story
My journey from an elementary school teacher to embracing my dyslexic identity has shaped my mission: to empower those with dyslexia and neurodivergent traits to achieve success and confidence. Understanding and supporting neurodivergent learners is not just my profession; it's my calling.

From playing school with stuffed animals to becoming an elementary teacher, my path was always geared towards education. Despite the struggles with my own dyslexia, I pursued my dream, which eventually led me to become a dyslexia therapist. This career shift allowed me to fully embrace my learning differences and use my experiences to support others facing similar challenges.
My transition from public education to private practice was driven by a desire to make a more profound impact on my clients' lives, free from the constraints of high-stakes testing. As a mother of a dyslexic son, I deeply understand the challenges families face. I'm committed to being a steadfast advocate and resource for parents and their children, celebrating every step of progress along the way.
Embarking on an entrepreneurial journey was an unexpected turn in my career. It taught me the importance of adaptability, networking, and establishing a strong digital presence. These experiences have not only broadened my professional skills but also reinforced my dedication to building a supportive community for neurodivergent learners and their families.

Through resilience, determination, and a commitment to my mission, I've built a strong reputation within my market. My story is one of overcoming challenges, embracing differences, and helping others do the same. I'm here to support, educate, and advocate for every neurodivergent learner and their family on their journey to success.
